Memorial Day Weekend 2015
May 23-25th 2015
What do we honor this weekend?
Some call it the unofficial start to summer. . .
Some refer to this as graduation time . . .
for this holiday:
TO HONOR
THE SACRIFICES OF OUR MILITARY
MEN & WOMEN.
National Moment of Remembrance
3 p.m. on Monday

Mother's Day
Why are the stores packed with customers
in the week leading up to this day?
Because this is a day we all can take a
part in celebrating.
We all have/had a mother--a wonderful
Divine design to keep humans on this earth.
And what if you happened to have had a difficult
relationship with the woman who brought
you into this world? Then be grateful for the
unselfish women in your life who gave you. . .
LOVE
This is a great day
to also remember
that your mom was
once young.
What were her dreams?
Note to moms:
Before it is too late. . . share a dream with
your children today.
They'll listen because it is Mother's Day.
God Bless mothers and all who give freely
their motherly love to a waiting world. Amen

One Year
Memories & Anniversary
Do you value your memories?
Those moments when something special happened
and you look back later and say, "Yes, I remember."
I am in such a state this week as I recall
the beginning of this Blog on April 23, 2014.
I am grateful to you if you have clicked on
to any of my 157 posts--my goal is always
to be worthy of your time.
Some notable events (in the past) on this day:
Robert Penn Warren, the First Poet Laureate of the
U.S. was born in 1905.
Pope Benedict XVI was installed in Rome as the leader of
the Roman Catholic Church.
Also, NASA launched the Hubble Space Telescope (HST).
Here is an image it captured. . .
Do yourself a good turn and go to the Hubble site--
out of this world images.
Thanks be to God for all things great and small
especially our memories.

The Bunny Comes
We are still in Easter Season,in the bunny world
carrot strips are called for . . .
(bless his heart) whistles and the bunnies
know to come out of hiding for dinner.
And then there are those talented
artists who gift you a bunny and
carrot forever. All you can do
is admire the details and say,
"Thank you, Rosalind !"
