Discursion . . .why?
"The action of running or moving to and fro"-Oxford Universal Dictionary
(If you like a word and it serves you well, use it.)
For purposes of this blog: moving to and fro from subject to subject
without (necessarily) making hard and fast connections.
About this 1933 Oxford Universal Dicionary, it came as a gift from an
elderly student in a writing workshop. Her last words as she left this world:
Good night. And the whisper of one who had lost a dear friend, And flights
of angels sing thee to rest."
Shakespeare was born on this day in 1564.
And to all a beautiful evening.
